Antitrust experts are reportedly predicting a tough road ahead for the proposed acquisition of Lorillard by Reynolds American.
The merger between the two cigarette giants would combine Reynolds’ Camel brand with Lorillard’s Newport brand. Reynolds currently owns 27 percent of the market, while Lorillard controls 15 percent of the market.

In breaking down the numbers, the regulators announced 1,326 transactions were filed, a 7.2 percent decrease from the year prior.
Mexico-based real estate investment trust Fibra Uno announced plans to acquire a portfolio of 15 properties in a $1.8 billion deal.
According to reports, Fibra Uno made a regulatory filing announcing the acquisition. The company said it engaged in more than six months of negotiations.
