Mexico: The Senate approves Competition Law with more authority to COFECE (Competition Policy International)

The Federal Economic Competition Law was approved by the Senate on April 25th, and was returned to the House of Representatives to review the changes that were made.

The new law prohibits illicit concentrations, monopolistic practices and barriers that reduce, impair or impede the free economic competition.
